Mumbai Blasts: 25 Reportedly Dead, More Injured in 101 Explosions

Three explosions rocked through the business district of India's largest city Mumbai on Wednesday, leaving at least 25 dead and 101 injured, authorities said.  India's Home Ministry confirmed a terrorist attack and placed the city on high alert an hour after the series of attacks, which occurred within ten minutes of each other from 6:50 to 7:00 p.m. local time.

Of the three blasts, one went off in South Mumbai at Opera House on Charni Road, one in the jewelry market of Zaveri Bazar near the famous Mumbadevi temple, and one in the crowded neighborhood of Dadar, in central Mumbai.  All three are busy commercial and residential areas and were bustling with evening traffic when the explosions took place.
